Seaburge wins 2016 Mss Security Sires’ Produce Group 2 $200,000 at Flemington (VIC) 2yo, 1400m.
Seaburge continues to race in good form, now winning twice, with one second, from three starts. He began nicely from barrier one and settled in fifth place on the rails behind a moderate tempo (first 800m 50.17). He got along the rails on straightening, took the lead at the 200m and then went on to win well, sprinting home in smart time (33.11 last 600m).
Detective went to the front and led the field until passing the 300m and then fought back for a good second.
Revolving Door was fourth, one out and one back, moved up at the 300m and kept fighting quite well for third.
