Secret Agenda wins 2016 Ladbrokes Odds Boost How Now Group 3 $150,000 at Caulfield (VIC) 4yo+Mares, 1200m.
The well-supported favourite Secret Agenda scored an impressive first up win. She was fifth early on before settling in third spot (three wide without cover). She moved up nicely (deep) nearing the home turn, took the lead (wide out) at the 200m and then dashed clear to score a very smart first-up win.
Every Faith was eighth, between runners, to the home turn and fought on nicely in the straight, without threatening the winner, for second.
Exclusive Lass raced in sixth place (wide), turned for home, widest of all, and kept making ground to take third in a promising first-up effort.
A Lotta Love was a handy fourth on the rails, got along the inner (possibly in inferior going) in the straight and battled on well to hold fourth to the post while second favourite Miss Promiscuity raced outside the leader (Shakespearean Lass) and then kept battling on in the straight to finish (2.8 lengths) fifth.
