Miki Two Toes wins 2017 Farnley Stakes Listed $100,000 at Belmont Park (WA), 1400m.
Eight-year-old gelding Miki Two Toes, a winner of 12 (with 16 placings) in 61 starts, broke through for his first stakes victory here. He enjoyed a good trip in third place on the rails, got along the inner from the 300m hit the front at the 100m and battled on to score quite well.
The favourite Just Act Natural raced in fourth place (one out and one back), challenged at the 200m and fought on for second after seeming to have every chance.
Ihtsahymn was last in the seven-horse field before going deep approaching the home turn and then kept running on well to finish a close-up third.
