Jo Bowditch kept his good riding skills going when he rode Federal Court to a win in the 1250 metre opening event at Morphettville on Saturday.
Mentored by Morpehttville trainer Lloyd Kennewell and bringing up win number four from nineteen starts Federal court led all the way.
After winning the listed Murray Bridge Cup with Excites Zelady trainer Chris Beig brought up his second winner in twenty four hours when Wanted By All took out the 1400 metre second race.Having the services of apprentice Sairyn Fawke who brought up his first win for his master Wanted By All led all the way.
Tony McEvoy completed a fourpeat earning him a $10,000 bonus when his charge Dollar for Dollar took out the 1400 metre third race.Guided to victory by Jamie Kah and winning his second successive race on the Parks track Dollar for Dollar was well placed.
Paseeto brought up his second successive win on the Parks circuit when he ook out the 1400 metre fourth race.Bringing up a running double for the McEvoy Kah combination Paseeto came from third at the 200 metre mark before going on to win and may go on to contest the 1000 metre Carbine Club Stakes on VRC Derby Day.
Apprentice Dylan Caboche brought up a milestone in his career when he rode his 100th winner Lady of Crebilly in the 1250 metre fifth race.Being under the care of Phillip Stokes, Lady of Crebilly raced in a forward position throughout to break her maiden status at start number four.
After riding a treble at Murray Bridge yesterday Todd Pannell continued in winning vein when he guided Embecee Lil to a win in the 1300 metre sixth race.Prepared by Ryan Balfour and now having a record of three wins from eight starts Embecee Lil was another winner to be well placed.
Cranbourne based trainer Robbie Laing tasted victory when Temps Voleur won the 1950 metre seventh race.Having the services of apprentice Emily Finnegan Temps Voleur maintained a forward position throughout the event.
Apprentice Raquel Clark made it two last race winners in two days when she rode Miss Identify to a win in the final event which was run over 1250 metres.Trained by Travis Doudle, Miss Identify, a last start Gawler winner, gradually improved from a rearward position before coming with a withering run to take the event.
