Notonyourlife wins 2017 Ubet Classic Listed $100,000 at Doomben (QLD), 1200m.
Previously stakes-placed and resuming after having been covered by Spirit Of Boom, Notonyourlife flew at the leaders inside the 150m then came away for an impressive win, her maiden stakes win and sixth overall.
She was slow away to be among the last few upon settling but jockey Brad Stewart moved a little closer before straightening. Once balanced, she gathered in the leaders, accelerated by and was increasing her lead at the wire to win impressively.
Our Beebee pulled five wide to challenge, looked flat but when passed by the winner fought back for a good second.
Sylpheed was handy next to rails turning in, got out at the 100m and ran on well to grab third from Of The Day who turned in three out, challenged for the lead but was passed late to hold fourth.
