Show The World wins 2018 Marks Ewen & Assoc. Kaimai Stk Listed NZ$50,000 at Matamata (NZ), 2000m.
Show The World won in a head bobber to add win six to his 30-start career. He was third last with a lap to run, still third last at the 1000m (one out) then began his run at the 600m.
Rider Lynsey Satherley pushed very wide nearing the last corner and they were widest setting for home. Satherley got very busy at the 250m and they ranged up alongside a wall of chances before Show The World pushed his head out just short of the line for a tough win.
Our King Sway was also well back at the top of the straight, sprinted to be alongside the winner at the 50m but was narrowly outfinished.
Rangipo took over into the straight and kept on solidly for third from Nicoletta who had every chance at the 200m but was swamped over the final 100m.
