  CANNINGTON

Race 3 No. 2 Knight Fright and No. 4 Gnarly Nala

A messy maiden on the cards here. Some very wide runners with dogs boxed upside down. The 2 will get the good fence run here and if he is close, he will be strong home. The 4 gets a great map here and she could lead solo this time. Good effort last week until she was knocked out of it and she can go much better here.

Race 4 No. 3 Common Man

Another whose effort was super last week and he's close to breaking through. Made sustained ground the whole trip. The form is suspect out of the race but this is no harder and he is ready to strike. Gets his chance.

Race 5 No. 4 Whiskey On Rocks and No. 8 Slowly Drifting

The 4 continues to start huge odds and is whisker away from getting that split of luck she needs into the back. That could arrive here now she's drawn centre map. Going better than it looks and can hit the frame. As can the 8 now he's back over this trip. Backing him in anything further than 400m is a waste of time and money and while he lacks dash, he does get into his work quickly over these short trips this corner start suits. Small spec as he is limited but can figure.

Race 6 No. 1 Pea Pettigrew and No. 8 Blessed Doll

If the 1 doesn't lead and win, his winning days are over. He has reached the end of his excuse book here and there can be no more if this box doesn't bring his best out. Trust, and plenty of it is needed but he can win if he puts in on the arm. The 8 could surprise here with a from the back effort. Will get into her work late and she did make solid run home ground over the Mandurah 400m last start. Look for her place heavy.

Race 7 No. 3 Window Shopper    Best Value

The start critical here. If he can step a little better he can settle right on the arm here. Slow beginners around him and a good draw gives him every chance here and he was good last week over the 520m in tough company. Won this trip in fair time before and a huge show here with a clean getaway.

Race 6 No. 7 Whodat Shanlyn and No. 2 Patch You Later
