A host of Group winners are down to make their first trial appearances heading into the autumn during 14 heats at Randwick on Thursday including the Gai Watewrhouse-trained Glencadam Gold.
Early 1200m Open heats will see the likes of Glencadam Gold and Laser Hawk readied further for their upcoming autumn campaigns.
2012 Metropolitan winner Glencadam Gold is being readied for The BMW while Laser Hawk trials on Thursday after the 2012 Rosehill Guineas winner missed the spring due to injury.
It will be Laser Hawk's second trial this prep after the Gooree-raced four-year-old had a 1050m hitout at Randwick on January 4.
That Group 1 winning duo spearheads a large contingent of Waterhouse runners including Julienas, Stratofortress and Raceway.
Waterhouse two-year-olds also feature prominently during the three juvenile heats such as Gimcrack Stakes placegetter Shahad and the full sister to champion mare More Joyous; Most Joyful.
Victoria Derby winner Fiveandahalfstar will also trial as he is readied for a tilt at the ATC Australian Derby (2400m) at Randwick on April 13.
The Anthony Cummings-trained galloper contests a 3YO Open trial (740m) with the stable currently down to saddle up 15 other runners throughout the morning.
Speedster Diamond Earth is another notable three-year-old from the stable trialling while others worth mentioning who trial on Thursday are the John O'Shea-trained Group winning duo of Colorado Claire and Ashokan.
The first heat at Randwick on Thursday is due to be conducted at 8.15am.
