The 2016 Banjo Galaxy is one of five Group 1 races run at Rosehill Garden this Saturday, March 19.

Group 1 winners Flamberge and Terravista head the weights under the handicap conditions, each carrying 58kg.

Flamberge (Damian Lane) scored his second Group 1 win when taking out the Oakleigh Plate last start but has been set a task drawing the extreme outside barrier in the 2016 Galaxy.

Terravista (Hugh Bowman) was ruled out of last Saturday’s Newmarket Handicap with a minor hoof issue but has recovered well enough to take his place in the 2016 Galaxy, the Joe Pride-trained sprinter drawing gate three with stablemate Ball Of Muscle (Tim Clark) drawing nine.

Rebel Dane (Damien Oliver) returns to Sydney after campaigning in Melbourne but drew wide in 15 with Our Boy Malachi in 14 and Famous Seamus (James McDonald) drawing 11.

Peter and Paul Snowden have a pair of runners with Dothraki in six and Bounding alongside in seven while Gai Waterhouse’s last start Challenge Stakes winner English (Tommy Berry) drew 17.

Oakleigh Plate runner-up Fell Swoop (Brenton Avdulla) narrowly gained a start and drew stall eight with Tony McEvoy’s Shiraz (Brett Prebble) in 10.

Melbourne visitors Lord Of The Sky (Zac Purton) and Lumosty both made the final field drawing five and 12 respectively with Boss Lane (Sam Clipperton) drawing two.

Pittsburgh Flyer, Griante, Malaguerra and Miss Promiscuity were named emergencies for the 2016 Galaxy.
