She was beaten a long way when resuming but that was on a heavy track and she did beat the bulk of the field and should strip fitter today on a slightly firmer track.Leucura (Race 7) hasn’t won for a while but the punters believe today could be his day after some consistent form that has seen him place at four of his last five runs. He has shortened the best part of two points to $4.20 and should enjoy the soft conditions after finishing runner up in his first try at the mile last start.
Lake Lugarno (Race 8) has taken over as favourite at $3.50 with TopBetta after firming several points since markets opened.
