Coming off a match against the Kangaroos where they had to battle to win, it might end up helping them then harming them.
They needed to show some mettle and at least North gave them a contest. The midfield still wasn't able to get on top easily.
You knew that Charlie Curnow would have a rebound but he has to continue to be selfless and do so without the normal help.
One thing about Port is they do love playing at this venue. In fact they have won 10 of their last 11 at the Docklands.
So you can expect, coming off a decent win (without being spectacular) against the Tigers, that they will have some confidence knowing they are capable.
Watch for the vaunted midfield to have a real crack and see if Carlton is vulnerable.

Carlton has some injury worries and will have to be deft in changing plans. They will try to lock down Butters (and likely niggle him too).
If they hold Port's influencers they should win but it will be a battle and definitely don't rule out a Port victory.
