The Royal Montreal Golf Club hosts the 2024 Presidents Cup with the Internationals looking for a rare win with Team USA confident of retaining the Cup.

BACK (WIN) TEAM USA at $1.20+
Team USA has completely dominated the Presidents Cup since its inception back in 1994 with the only International success coming back in 1998 with a tie in 2003 the only other joy found by the Internationals. The US team has won 12 times including the last nine. The USA has never lost when the event has been staged in the Northern Hemisphere. The talent differential is just to big for the Internationals to overcome with the USA have five players in the Top 10 against just one from the Internationals while all USA players sit inside the OWGR Top 25 while the Internationals have just four. The USA team will not be losing though the biggest margin ever when the Internationals have hosted is five so expect this to be somewhere in the 17-13 range.

The International team lacks both top-level talent and experience so points will be few and far between. Adam Scott has been a stalwart of this team with 10 Presidents Cups in the bag. Scott has a sound enough record in matchplay but key here is his recent form. He ranks 7th in the combined field for strokes gained over the last three months. With two Top 5s in his last three starts, Scott is playing well enough to be the top International scorer.

BACK (TOP USA POINT SCORER) Xander Schauffele at $4.80+
It has been a remarkable year for Xander Schauffele, who claimed his first major and then followed it up with his second when claiming the Open Championship. It has been an almighty season for him and he now stands alone behind only Scottie Scheffler. The difference between the two though is Scheffler has never thrived in matchplay while Schauffele has loved the Presidents Cup with six wins from nine matches. In the entire field he has gained the second most strokes over the last three months.
TOP ROOKIE POINT SCORER

BACK (TOP ROOKIE POINT SCORER) Wyndham Clark at $3.00+
There are six rookies teeing it up at Royal Montreal and with the USA expected to claim the majority of the points, will be looking for one of theirs. Wyndham Clark and Sahith Theegala were the two automatic selections and will get more opportunities than Harman and Henley. Clark earned plenty of trust after a big Ryder Cup. The best bet of the Presidents Cup.
TOP WILDCARD POINT SCORER

BACK (TOP WILDCARD POINT SCORER) Sam Burns at $4.80+
Burns has elite-level upside and is starting to return to his best. His true strokes gained over the last three months ranks in the top-third of the field while he has four straight Top 13 finishes. He was arguably the first player picked by Jim Furyk and got a big crack at the last Presidents Cup.
