Conference Finals are here and we've taken an early look at the best bets of the weekend.
Philadelphia -2.5 @ $1.85
There were worries about how Philly would perform in the Divisional round after not playing at full strength since Jalen Hurts suffered a small injury in week 15. The doubts were quickly squashed however as Philly put in a dominant display, easily taking care of a New York Giants team that had no right to compete with a roster as talented as this Eagles one. If there was a roster that could compete however, it's this 49ers team. Boasting an elite defense, elite playmakers and elite offensive mind, the questions still come down to Brock Purdy in his rookie year at quarterback. He has been perfect so far, not just keeping the Niners alive but bringing them to their peak. San Francisco hasn't looked like losing in 12 weeks and are clearly the form team of the competition. The Eagles are truly their best competition this time however, and this shapes to be an incredibly even game. When in doubt, go with the better quarterback and Jalen Hurts is far ahead of Purdy.
Cincinnati -1.5 @ $1.90
Kansas City has found out the hard way that winning a Superbowl is incredibly difficult. After winning one in their second year with Patrick Mahomes taking the reins at quarterback, the Chiefs have made 5 consecutive AFC Championship games. No more Super Bowl wins have followed however and only one other trip to the big game. It won't get easier for them this week either, Mahomes suffered an ankle injury in their win over the Jaguars and now they face a team that has had the wood over them previously. The Bengals have won three straight against KC, including a win in last year's AFC Championship game. Joe Burrow is oozing confidence in Cincy and seems to have his eyes set on winning it all this year, again peaking at the right time. The Bengals have the opportunity to prey on a weakened Mahomes and attempt to avenge their defeat in last year's Superbowl with another appearance.
