The Super Bowl is upon us, and we've picked out the best player props for the big game.
Patrick Mahomes Over 292.5 Passing Yards $1.88
The bread and butter of this Chiefs team is Mahomes' ability to throw the ball and there is no reason for this to slow down. Even on a busted ankle last game, Mahomes easily cleared this total while only putting 23 points on the board, a smaller total then what you expect from Kansas City. The Chiefs are expected to score another 24 points in the Superbowl and that would almost certainly come from Mahomes and the passing game. Taking overs can be a risk on most occasions but Mahomes is the safest player in the league.
Kadarius Toney Under 24.5 Receiving Yards $1.90
We wrote previously about the potential Toney had in this offense should he stay healthy, right before he was injured in the opening quarter of the Bengals game and didn't play another snap. There is no denying Toney's ability when he has the ball in his hands but the two years of data we have on him during his NFL career shows that he just can't be relied upon. Taking the under protects us from another injury from Toney, even if he does return to full health for this game. Toney may have been a part of this offense had he stayed healthy but his continued absence has meant he cannot be relied upon for Andy Reid and the Chiefs.
Jalen Hurts Over 49.5 Rushing Yards $1.88
Hurts hasn't cleared this total in a few games but he has a few explanations as to why. Since injuring his shoulder in the regular season, Hurts has been taking it easy in an attempt not to aggravate the injury. Another reason is the opposition Hurts has faced recently - he simply hasn't been required to run the ball. Hurts' legs are one of the biggest weapons for this Philly team and games against tough opposition is when Nick Sirianni brings this out. The Chiefs are certainly a tough opponent and Philadelphia will need to bring everything they have offensively to keep up and come away with a win.
