WTA NINGBO – D Shnaider vs P Badosa

I've been somewhat critical of some of the shorter prices that we have seen for Shnaider in recent weeks, however coming off a couple of 3 set losses and freshen up after some solid tennis through July/August/September, this looks to be a good spot for an aggressive moneyline play. Shnaider won't be afraid to go toe to toe with Badosa here, and the Spaniard comes in off a withdrawal last week after her run to the Beijing semi finals the week before. Happy to step in to a solid underdog selection here.
WTA NINGBO – M Andreeva vs V Lepchenko
Betting Strategy
BACK: (Match Odds) Lepchenko to win (recorded at $11) for 1.25 units (Rated at $6.50)
Don't get me wrong – I am a massive fan of Andreeva and her game, as shown by my supporting of her in recent weeks. I just don't quite feel as though I can confidently justify her current price of $1.08 pre-commission. She is 17 years old, coming to the end of her biggest season on tour to date, and comes in off an incredibly 'off' performance against her older sister last week, winning only 4 games as a sub $1.20 favourite. Cannot possibly entertain at the price.
ATP ALMATY – J Engel vs C Wong
Betting Strategy
BACK: (Set Betting) Wong 2-0 Set Betting (recorded at $2.04) for 1 unit (Rated at $1.86)
Happy to make a small play on Wong in straight sets here against the 17 year old Engel. This is a far more significant step up here for Engel than it is for Wong, who has looked strong at Challenger level and in some of his exploits at ATP level this year.
ATP ALMATY – D Dzumhur vs M Marterer
Betting Strategy
BACK: (Match Odds) Dzumhur to win (recorded at $2) for 1 unit (Rated at $1.81)
Both coming into this off losing streaks, however I prefer Dzumhur in this match-up at the current odds. I just haven't seen enough consistency in the game of Marterer to consider his current price.
