#2 Chateauneuf ticks plenty of boxes: Purton rides from barrier 1, and the addition of blinkers for the first time might just do the trick. He showed potential last season, winning one from five. #3 Giant Leap ended his first season by scoring a dominant win at this course and distance on his first attempt. The youngster looks more than capable of repeating the dose and has plenty of upside. #5 Perfect General turned in a promising debut down the Sha Tin straight last season, finishing strongly late, one length into fifth. He should appreciate the step up in trip here and appears progressive. #1 Happy Day returns to Class 4, where all three career wins have come. One to watch.

INTERACTIVE FORM

Racing And Sports has two quality interactive form systems which you as the user can adjust to your own specific tastes and thoughts. We've detailed below how to use both the Neurals and Worksheet areas of a race guide.

Neurals

These are computer enhanced analyses of all the areas which go into making up a race field. They factor in algorithms for every contingency as explained below and added them up to generate the likely best horse in a race.

When you go into them via the Form Guide page you simply run your mouse over any column and you can sort the field by any individual type of Neural Rating which determines the final total (and therefore best rater).

Explanation of Inputs for Neural Analysis

CPCareer performance assessment based on weight/class algorithms
CFCurrent form measured by class/weight algorithms
TIMRevolutionary time assessment (adjusted algorithm)
JAJockey ability algorithm
TATrainer ability algorithm
JTJockey/trainer combination algorithm
WTWet track performance algorithm
CrsCourse suitability algorithm
DDistance suitability algorithm
$Prizemoney earned algorithm
BPBarrier position (course & distance) algorithm
DLRDays since last run algorithm
  • The user sets the level of importance from the Preference Scale (1 to 5 or No) for each algorithm and the output weightings are listed within seconds.
  • The Neural factor analysis will quickly identify for you just who are the main chances in each race, the highest to the lowest based on the factor weightings

Imagine what you could be buying instead.
