It was another exciting week of action in the NRL as the Dolphins made a statement regards their premiership credentials.
There were also big wins for Penrith Panthers, Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters at the top of the ladder.
Dolphins dark horses for the title
People are finally starting to talk about the Dolphins as a potential premiership contender after they picked up another big win.
The Dolphins edged out the Cronulla Sharks on their own deck with a thrilling 30-28 victory.
They almost let it slip with Nicho Hynes missing a last-minute conversion to take the game to golden point, but not many would argue the Dolphins deserved their win.
Wayne Bennett's men raced into a 22-0 lead in the first half, and although Cronulla fought back after the break, the Dolphins got the job done.
Another highlight was Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow scoring a candidate for try of the season as he raced the length of the pitch with the game on the line.
The Dolphins now sit fourth on the ladder, four points behind Melbourne Storm, and can be backed at 26.00 to win the grand final.
With Bennett in his final season before leaving for South Sydney Rabbitohs, nothing can be ruled out.
Next up for the Dolphins is a massive game against Melbourne Storm on Friday night. Win that and people really will start talking.
Big wins for Panthers and Storm
Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers sit first and second on the ladder respectively following impressive wins in Week 15.
The Storm had a tough trip across the Tasman to take on the New Zealand Warriors, but passed the test with an impressive 38-24 victory.
Reigning premiers Penrith also had a tricky clash at Newcastle Knights, but again came through unscathed, winning 26-18.
Penrith are priced at 3.10 to win a fourth straight premiership, but the Storm at 6.00 look to have what it takes to stop them.
The Storm travel to take on the Dolphins on Friday night in a huge game. The Panthers will be able to watch the game from the sofa as they have a week off.
Rabbitohs on a roll
South Sydney Rabbitohs made it three wins on the bounce with an impressive 22-12 win over the Brisbane Broncos.
Souths are finally starting to look like themselves once again after a tough start to the season, and there is still a chance they can make the top eight.
They are five points behind and the wins will need to continue if they are to get there, but all of a sudden the bunnies are bouncing.
Latrell Mitchell is also back to his best and his performances have earned him a recall to the New South Wales side for State of Origin.
That does mean he will be unavailable for another massive game against Manly Sea Eagles on Saturday.
Cameron Murray is another who will be on State of Origin duty for game two, and it is a big blow for the bunnies to lose both players.
