The Storm continue to shine this season and currently sit four points clear at the top of the NRL ladder.

Winning the 2024 grand final will be the main aim, but they are on course to secure the minor premiership before then, and can be backed at 1.45 to do it.

But they need to keep picking up the wins, and the next side in their way are the Parramatta Eels.

The Eels have had a season to forget, and it got even worse following the news that star playmaker Mitchell Moses will miss the rest of the campaign.

Even so they are still playing for pride and it is important they stay above Wests Tigers, who are just two points below them.

Parramatta are 2.30 to suffer most losses this season.

. What: Parramatta Eels v Melbourne Storm

Eels hit by Moses blow

Parramatta have been rocked by the news that star playmaker Mitchell Moses will miss the rest of the season with a torn bicep.

Moses sustained the injury when starring in New South Wales' State of Origin season win over Queensland, and will play no further part.

It is another setback for Moses, who has only played eight games this season after also suffering a foot injury.

Another Eels legend Clint Gutherson will make his 200th NRL appearance and is priced at 3.70 to celebrate the occasion by grabbing a try at anytime.

The Eels can also take heart from the fact they have beaten the Storm in three of the last four games at CommBank Stadium.

However they are out of form and without Moses, so are priced at 7.00 to beat the high-flying Storm by 1-12 points.

They did have a bye in the last round, so should be well rested, while experienced duo Bryce Cartwright and Shaun Lane are named to start.

Storm rolls on

Melbourne Storm continue to fly despite being hit by a number of injury setbacks along the way.

There some good news on the injury front however as star playmaker Cameron Munster closes in on a return to action.

Munster has been named among the reserves and will be a massive boost to the Storm's chances of winning the premiership in 2024.

Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Christian Welch also return from injury, so Craig Bellamy will be able to put out a very strong side on Friday night.

The Storm have piled on a total of 94 points in the last two games against the Eels and will look to score big once again.

In Round 11 they won by 32 points at AAMI Park, and are priced at 12.00 to win by 31-35 points on this occasion.

Meanwhile, Harry Grant has made a habit of scoring tries against the Eels and will be out to inflict more damage.

The hooker is priced at 3.10 to grab a try at anytime.
