$75,000 on the table again with bet365's Pick 6 Challenge

Leading bookmaker bet365 are putting $75,000 on the line for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Caulfield, Rosehill and Eagle Farm cards this weekend. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a head start on the form.

Caulfield Race 8 - Jockey Watch Handicap @ 3.30pm - 1000m

Fleetwood (1) is a handy gelding down from Sydney who has won both starts this time in, too good at Warwick Farm first up before beating a talented type in The Black Cloud last start at Randwick in a Bm78. That form should hold up well. Amigo (10) resumes. He won his first two starts last time in at short odds before tackling a strong race and running fairly well behind Brave Mead & King Colorado. He then tackled the G3 Cs Hayed behind Riff Rocket and wasn't terrible. 1000m the query here. Gitalong (5) won his first three starts last time in before starting hard in the market in a handy race at Geelong. He's trialled well and should take beating. Le Parrain (8) won well two back at Bendigo and was solid at Flemington. Soju (11) was dominant last time and can measure up.

Rosehill Race 10 - Petaluma Handicap @ 3.50pm - 1800m

Don Diego De Vega (5) is a lightly raced French import with a ton of ability making his Australian debut for the Neasham yard. Finished off last campaign when fifth over 2400m at Chantilly in the G3 Pr Du Lys Longi on June 18, 2023. Fitted with two searching trials and gelded over the break. Market moves must be closely monitored. Franz Josef (1) smart Snitzel gelding chasing his third-straight victory today. Keeps raising the bar at each outing and proved too strong late in the heavy going when a tenacious winner over 1500m here on June 15. Extra trip suits and will need a bit of McEvoy magic from the wide gate. Mascaret (12) better effort when she powered late in the heavy going to finish a close fifth over 1600m at Randwick on June 8. Watch for closing late. Time Quest (8) underrated gelding who got the race on protest over 1600m at Warwick Farm in easier grade on June 5. Will appreciate the extra trip and has genuine top-three claims.

Eagle Farm Race 8 - Tattersall's Tiara @ 3.58pm - 1400m

The $700,000 Group 1 Tattersall's Tiara. Hard to go past the well-traveled Bella Nipotina (1) who is yet to put in a poor run this campaign and will appreciate the Weight For Age here. Certainly wasn't disgraced when second in the Stradbroke at the latest effort and has an edge over most of these. Only needs some luck from the carpark draw to be playing a major role in the finish. The well-related C'Est Magique (8) (half to G1 winner and stallion Written By) returned in fine fashion winning the G2 Dane Ripper and McDonald stays on board. Can go onto to better things this preparation. Semana (2) has a handy second-up record with two wins and a placing from just three attempts and can improve enough to feature in the outcome. Worth another chance. Roll On High (15) gets winning hoop Duric back on from the low draw and cannot be discounted. Coeur Volante (14) rounds out the selections.

Caulfield Race 9 - Marshall White Quality @ 4.05pm - 2000m

Milford (3) has come back well and can atone for last start. He was a surprise winner two back over a mile at Flemington and didn't have the best of luck last start when out to this trip. Maps for a soft run here and might be better suited at this trip over a few rivals. Smokin' Romans (1) has been good at his past two and should be ready to peak getting to 2000m. He is a Group 1 winner over this trip and will take catching with the 3kg claim. Foujita San (9) ran on strongly to score out to this track and trip last start. Bit more depth here and likely to get a long way back again is the query, but he'll be hard to hold out. Dashing (4) is racing very well but 2000m has to be some query. Touristic (15) won his first race in Australia at Mornington and might be able to go on with the job now.

Rosehill Race 11 - Rosehill Bowling Club Handicap @ 4.30pm - 1200m

Group 3 placegetter Bojangles (11) is a classy gelding kept fresh for this. Had no luck from the wide gate with the big weight when a fast finishing sixth to Elson Boy over 1300m at Scone on May 18. Comes out of a strong form race and kept up to the mark with a recent Wyong trial. Maps well with the claim and expected to go close. Able Willie (12) racing well this time in and total forgive on the heavy (9) track when ninth over 1300m at this track on June 15. Prospects look bright with Nash Rawiller riding on a firmer track. King Of Naples (9) nice return with the 60kg when he sat on the pace for a tough fourth over 1100m at Scone on May 18. Plagued by wet tracks since and will appreciate the claim from the low draw today. Stays in the mix. Starman (15) enigmatic gelding with a fitness edge over most of these. Back in trip after finishing third over 1400m at Randwick on June 8. Can run into the money despite drawing out.

Eagle Farm Race 9 - Eureka Stud W.J. Healy Stakes @ 4.35pm - 1200m

The $200,000 Group 3 W.J Healy Stakes. All That Pizzazz (2) loves this circuit with two wins and two seconds from just five starts and just missed the placings in a tougher G2 Moreton Cup at the latest outing. Should be at his peak now fourth-up and gets McDonald on to navigate from the sticky barrier. Will be right there at the business end. Iowna Merc (14) has been in the mix in Listed contests of late and should get a soft run in transit from the low draw. Cannot be ignored. Tashi (12) is a very consistent conveyance who doesn't know how to run a bad race. Has to be included in multiples. Mishani Sniper (11) has been thereabouts in recent outings and may earn some minor money. King Kapa (9) next best.
