We're taking on the boom filly. She meets a G1 winner in Manaal under the set weights conditions of the race and has a sticky draw. She copped a terrific ride from K-Mac last start and proved too good, but I feel that she's got to get past better horses this time around, and I can only see her settling at the tail-end of the field. She can win obviously, but the map maps it tough.

Gold Coast: Race 9; #2 Blakmax 

Overraced last start and was able to get the win at Doomben leading throughout which is not his usual pattern. This sets up differently and I feel it is a tougher BM78 than last start.
