There's been plenty of good moves today in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

In Sydney, Gaze In Awe was well supported and bought off a nice plunge, while Sea Galleon was the popular choice in race three at Sandown.

Punters were heading to the bar after race7 at Canterbury when hot favourite Shamus failed to run a drum.

They got some back in the final race at Sandown when Population was the medium of good backing just minutes out from the race.

Bets totaling over $10,000 came rushing in and proved to be spot on, with jockey Ben Melham completing a treble after earlier wins with Freereturn and Full Peal. In fact, all of Melham's rides were heavily backed with punters cleaning up!

Rampart was also heavily backed in the last at Canterbury but couldn't get the cash for its supporters.
