Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Monday’s meeting at Goulburn.

Common Purpose (Race 4) is a hot odds-on favourite at $1.45 having shortened 45 cents this morning. The three-year-old has been runner up at his four career starts, all at this course, and the punters have confidence this is his chance to win after missing in photo finishes at his last two.

Ultimate Fantasy (Race 6) has tightened her grip on favouritism at $2.25, in about 60 cents on her initial quote. She is racing well with a win and two close seconds from her past three starts at the provincials so looks well placed.

Danzie (Race 8) is another that is now into the red at $1.65, more than a point shorter than his opening quote. She started her career with a win at this course and the market push suggests she can do it again.
