Alcabeel won his debut at Newcastle and he now jumps quickly up in class to a BM72 where he will meet some older horses which may test him early into his career. He has drawn the outside barrier, so will need to be slick early to find a good position. He is a potential chance of getting caught wide in the run if there is speed beneath him. That wide run may really test him late in a race with the extra pressure like this one will likely have.

Sandown: Race 2; #12 Kissed Earth 

Kissed Earth was a drifter in betting last start and I expect similar today. I couldn't have her favourite, she was ok through the line in a bunched finish in a poor race this track and distance last start and now drops back in trip which doesn't seem ideal, as she lacked a turn of foot over 1400m first-up at Cranbourne.

Doomben: Race 2; #1 Beans Means 

The overall figure produced last start was poor and this is a much stronger maiden race and both jockey and trainer have poor last 50 strike rates of 6% and 4.5% respectively.
