$50,000 is again on the line with bet365's Pick 6 Challenge

Leading bookmaker bet365 are fronting up another $50,000 for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Rosehill, Eagle Farm and Flemington cards this weekend. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

Last Saturday they had five customers successfully pick six winners – collecting $10,000 each of the whopping $50,000 pool.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a head start on the form.

Rosehill Race 8 - Toyota Forklifts Winter Challenge @ 3.25pm - 1500m

Group 2 placegetter War Eternal (11) is racing in career best form and on the quick back-up today. Powered home from well back when a dominant winner over 1400m at Randwick last Saturday. Looks well placed in this tougher contest on the limit weight and expected to go close again. King Of The Castle (6) raced without luck all prep and chopped out at a vital stage last start before getting off the fence when hitting the line strongly to finish a narrow third over 1400m in the LR Winter Stakes at Randwick on July 6. Drawn to get the right run again and will prove one of the hardest to stop. Tamerlane (1) went around at a ridiculous price last start ($21), when a gritty on-pace winner over 1400m in the LR Winter Stakes at Randwick. Up slightly in weight and sure to be thereabouts again. Group 3 placegetter Charterhouse (3) looks set to peak fourth-up after racing well in similar company. Drops in weight and expecting McDonald to weave his magic.

Eagle Farm Race 7 - Moreton Hire QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap @ 3.37pm - 1800m

Australian Bloodstock import Zaphod (1) was an impressive Scone winner at his local debut when well found in the betting and is sure to have come on with that run now under the belt. Placed at Group 3 level in the northern hemisphere and should be in this contest for a long way. Another import Poutchek (10) broke the maiden status here last time out and will have derived a bunch of confidence from that victory. Can go right on with the job now. Sharp Dazzler (2) has won three from four here, draws low and gets 3kg off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. Victory Command (11) is knocking on the door of a maiden victory with three consecutive runner-up finishes. Sure to run well again. Farwest (13) has placed four of his past five and is one for the multiples.

Flemington Race 7 - Deane Lester Flemington Cup @ 3.45pm - 2800m

Taramansour (6) continues to race well, second to Born A King here two back before proving 'best of the rest' behind Berkshire Breeze in the Banjo Paterson Final last time out. Doesn't have a horse of that calibre this time and will take beating. Speycaster (3) comes down from Sydney having won the Stayers Cup last start at Rosehill, closing off a strong tempo to score by two lengths. Will be hard to hold out. Born A King (1) was a surprise winner two back here before struggling behind Berkshire Breeze. Can bounce back. Port Guillaume (4) won't have any issues staying the journey strongly and can figure. Through Irish Eyes (2) might be the improver. He needs every bit of this trip to get warm.

Rosehill Race 9 - TAB Handicap @ 4.05pm - 1300m

Chorlton Lane (3) progressive type with an excellent record over this track and trip. In need of the run when returned from a let-up with a disappointing seventh over 1440m at Caulfield on June 29. Gets the right set-up here and can return to winning form with the good tempo expected. Elson Boy (8) tough Dubbo gelding who had his good record blemished last start when up in grade for a slogging on-pace second over 1200m at Randwick in BM88 company. Looks good pressure again from the outset and go on his slick win two back when assessing his chances. Danaustar (10) anchored with the 59kg on resumption when tiring late to finish eighth over 1200m at this track on June 29. Has solid second-up stats and gets a senior rider on from the inside gate. One of the leading players. With Your Blessing (9) covered ground early and much better showing when third over 1200m at Randwick on July 6. Tongue-tie goes on and maps well. Stays in the mix.

Eagle Farm Race 8 - XXXX QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap @ 4.13pm - 1400m

This could turn out to be a decent form race. Golden Decade (1) has been a model of consistency of late including placing in the Cooney last time out behind a couple of smart ones. Gets 3kg off with the claim and will be rock-hard fit for this. Rates a major player in this contest. Caspernova (13) got the maiden out of the way last time out after three runner-up finishes to start the career. Sure to be high on confidence now and is worth following up. Cape Crusader (11) has been racing well at Toowoomba and gets in light at the weights with the claim. Top-three candidate. Bright Blonde (12) disappointed last time but go on the solid Doomben win when resuming. Can bounce back. Beebee Dazzler (10) has only missed the top-two once in seven career starts and is a must for the exotics players.

Flemington Race 8 - VRC Member Peter Drake Plate @ 4.20pm - 2000m

Cadmus (6) is flying of late and looks the one to beat again. He was good when wide in a handy BM84 two back at this track over 1800m and went on with it to score easily at Sandown Hillside last time, again over 1800m. No issue up to 2000m, he'll be very hard to hold out. Wyclif (7) is coming off a solid win at Caulfield in a similar grade over this distance. This looks another winnable race, staying on 54kg after the claim. Pounding (4) was hard in the market in the Winter Championships Final last time but a bit flat. His run prior when second to Cadmus was good although 2000m might be a slight knock. Smokin' Romans (1) was just fair last time but can't be discounted as a track and trip Group 1 winner. Interpretation (3) found the mile too short first-up but did run a good race second up last time in. Can improve sharply.
