Rosehill: Race 6; #9  In Flight  

She has been very good to us of late IN FLIGHT, but my opinion here is that she could potentially be vulnerable in these conditions today. She is a runner who clearly thrives on the heavy going and she now comes up onto a dryer track which may not suit as well for her today, particularly if we get to a Soft 5 by this race. Throw in the fact she has the wider barrier it does make her run potentially tricky. She has the light weight which may help, but still thinking if she gets caught out wide she may be vulnerable in these conditions.

Flemington: Race 7; #3 Speycaster 

Staying races aren't my go but I've got Taramansour favourite over Speycaster. The latter did when in strong time on a heavy deck last start but did so off a $21 SP and with all favours in run. From gate two here, he is likely to end up buried back the fence needing luck. 

Taramansour was wide no cover for all of the 2540m two back and his effort to stick on was remarkable. Last start he won well, if you discount the grey on the cups path and if he is able to get a spot one off the fence, is the one to beat.

GREYHOUNDS:

Wentworth Park: Race 2; #7 Zipping Clampet   

Taking on the 7 here. He will be back near last and require luck in the run. Looks too short to me. Risking.

Wentworth Park: Race 6; #7 August Bob    

We were all over the 7 last week in the heat but this is a completely different map. A lot more pace tonight which is why we're against him. He is the fastest dog in the race but will have to come out running tonight.
