Best Bets for Railway Stakes Day as The Pinnacles roll on.
It's Railway Stakes Day at Ascot and what a cracking edition of the Group 1 feature it is!
Even better yet - you can watch all the action including pre- and post-race analysis live and free on 7Plus and Racing WA.
The tracked tipped into the Soft 5 range on Wednesday with some rain about, though is back to being rated a Good 4 on Thursday morning.
As mentioned, the Railway has plenty of betting angles with a number of horses rated similarly with Racing and Sports.
You can catch a full-length preview of the Railway here, written by my trusty (and handsome) colleague Trent Crebbin!
The Carbine Club of W.A. Stakes is race six on the card and that's where my Best Bet YONGA LASS is lining up.
She's been well fancied in lead-ups to the Railway Stakes and finds herself back in grade today on the quick turnaround.
The team would've had the 7-day turnaround planned as she just missed out on gaining a start in the Railway last week in the R.J. Peters.
This appears a much more suitable event than what she's been running in, and she'll get a perfect run from the barrier.
Expecting her to bounce back to winning ways on Saturday and make a statement.
As for the Next Best on the card, WUBIN GOLD won like good horses do last start, eased down to win by a length on the line.
She draws closer to the inside this time, but Turner will be wary of getting locked up on the inside, particularly with the sectionals she clocked when running home last start.
Keep Attacking beat Wubin Gold two back and meets her better at the weights, though Wubin Gold was a different horse last time out and has scope for further improvement now third-up.
Don't forget, all the action is live and free on 7Plus and Racing WA!
