WARWICK FARM July 15: Former Victorian mare HUMMING earns a rare three star rating for her classy win in the fastest 795m heat (47.28; 34.23) that confirmed the high rating we gave her in her first trial for her new trainer at Warwick Farm on July 1. Tracked the leader and was responsible for excellent work over the last 200m as she forged away under a cold ride for the easiest of wins. Zoustar colt BENGAL has come on in the right manner since his first two starts in March judging by his impressive win in the fastest 792m heat (47.33; 33.96), sprinting quickly with a fast sectional from the home turn to win by almost four lengths.
ROSEHILL July 12: CANPIKAPONY is a compact racy filly by Zousain who is set to improve sharply on her only start in March after showing good acceleration to win her 900m heat with ease. Peeled three wide at the 400m and showed a nice change of gear to easily run past the leaders and coast clear to win by almost two lengths.
WARWICK FARM July 1: Former Victorian mare HUMMING impressed with her strong work to cover ground and finish off under a hold for second in her 817m heat (49.26; 35.06), showing nice improvement off her first trial for the Pride stable. With sound Victorian and Adelaide form behind her she can be placed to advantage in restricted company against her own sex.
