Three to watch at Rosehill on August 16.
ROSEHILL SATURDAY
RACE 2 (8) ALL SALSA: Facing another rise in grade but coped easily when she came off her maiden win at Kembla Grange to sprint away from a midweek field at Canterbury on July 23 when she showed a brilliant acceleration from back in the field to win by three lengths. She’s a fast impover ready for the step up in distance and her higher weighted rivals may find it hard to match her sharp turn of foot.
RACE 4 (8) DREAM CHOICE: Stepping out for his first start for the Snowden stable and well placed to run boldly from a favourable draw at value odds. Boasts strong course and distance stats and is primed to add to an excellent fresh record after solid trial effort at Randwick. Track conditions will also not be a concern if the forecast rain arrives.
RACE 6 (5) ENTIRELY PLATINUM: Classy 5YO may be in for his best campaign judging by his impressive trials that have prepared him for this suitable first-up assignment that includes a very sharp 900m win over gun stablemate Messene and other Group horses at Rosehill on August 4. His first-up record is excellent, having won twice over 1400m when fresh and looks ready to go on from the impressive form he displayed last season.
