RACE 4 (10) MUSIC MAGNATE: Hit a new peak at third run back from a break when running home for a strong 1400m win at Rosehill on September 26 to add to an excellent record that has seen the 4YO miss a place only once in eight starts. Nicely placed to take the step into open company as he is drawn to enjoy a soft run on the back of the pace with a handy 3kg drop in weight,RACE 6 (1) VANBRUGH: This quality 3YO has really found his form with two powerful wins in the right lead up races that stamp as the horse to beat. Beat the subsequent Moonee Valley winner Jadeer over 1600m at Warwick Farm then clearly dominated his rivals in the Gloaming Stakes over 1800m at Rosehill. Those horses will find it hard to turn the tables on him at level weights over 2000m.
RACE 7 (5) BALLET SUITE: I have had a liking for this big mare for some time and the Angst Stakes is the right race to get with her after two eye catching efforts in unsuitable shorter races since resuming. Showed her class when an impressive stakes winner over 2020m at the Brisbane carnival and is perfectly placed to add to the outstanding record she already boasts at this course and distance.BLACKBOOK UPDATE
