RANDWICK SATURDAY

RACE 3 (6) MISS ROYALE: Proved costly last start but she’s has had only four starts and is well worth another chance as she holds plenty of scope for improvement. After her impressive maiden win first-up at Warwick Farm she couldn’t quite get to Selita over 1300m at Rosehill but will get every chance to run her down this time over the extra 100m as she is 5kg better off at the weights with a massive 7kg drop from last time..

RACE 5 (6) HERMOSA BEACH: Talented trainer Matt Dale has quickly made a habit of winning these Highway events and has another member of his Canberra stable primed for this week’s edition off a strong first-up win over 1400m on her home track. Liked the way she extended in the last 200m to record her second win in only six starts and confident she has the ability to go on to better things.

RACE 9 (6) MYDREAM: Good wet tracker appeals as a strong value play on a certain affected track after performing strongly in three starts over shorter distances since resuming in a nice build up to this winnable race. Boasts an excellent record at 1600m and is well placed on her favoured track conditions off a seven day back up, a scenario that has seen her produce winning form in the past.
