Dual Group 2 winner Cliff’s Edge (Canford Cliffs) will stand at Rangal Park in 2020 for an introductory fee of $6,600 (inc GST).

The son of Canford Cliffs (Tagula) won eight of his 30 career starts, headed by victoires in Alister Clark Stakes (Gr 2, 2040m) and Crystal Mile (Gr 2, 1600m) which saw him accumulate $1,181,860 in prize-money.

Purchased by Darren Weir and John Foote Bloodstock for $60,000 at the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Cliff’s Edge also counts the Caulfield Classic (Gr 3, 2000m) and Manfred Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) among his other stakes victories.

Cliff’s Edge is out of eight-time winner Simulation (Snaadee), making him a half-brother to seven winners including Listed-placed Delago’s Lad (Delago Boom).

Further back he hails from the same family as multiple elite-level winner All Along (Targowice).

The stallion will stand alongside Boom Time (Flying Spur), Danerich (Danehill) and fellow newcomer Soul Patch (Shamus Award).
