Having stood his first five seasons at stud at Darley's Kelvinside base, Exosphere (Lonhro) will relocate to Oaklands Stud in Queensland where he will stand for a fee of $4,950 (inc GST), while the stud's roster will once again be headed by Power (Oasis Dream) and he will stand the 2021 season for an increased fee of $13,200 (inc GST), having stood last season for $11,000 (inc GST).

Power's fee increase comes off the back of a brilliant season on the track, with the son of Oasis Dream (Green Desert) represented by 88 winners, headed by seven stakes winners, including Hong Kong Group 2 winner Mighty Giant and he is currently the leading three-year-old sire New Zealand, sitting one ahead of multiple champion sire Savabeel (Zabeel).

"We have been thrilled with how successful the progeny of Power have been on the track this season, as well as in the sales ring," said co-principal Alistair Stewart.

"His continued popularity shows that breeders are also believing in what Power is continuing to produce in both arenas."

Meanwhile, Exosphere is the sire of two stakes winners with Exoboom adding to that tally last Saturday, when running out a brilliant winner of the Hawkesbury Guineas (Gr 3, 1400m).

"With the support that Exosphere has already received, we believe he will make an immediate impact in the state and are excited by his future," said Stewart.

"However, we remain aware that these are challenging times for everyone. As such, we have priced our stallions with the view to offering value to breeders, many of whom are returning clients.

We are also very conscious of leaving good margin for breeders, and we want to see them do well selling and racing Oaklands-bred progeny. That equates to return business over the long term."
