Arrowifield Stud's Snitzel (Redoute's Choice) recorded his 118th stakes winner on Saturday when Lofty Strike (2 c ex Overreach by Exceed And Excel) remained undefeated in the Blue Diamond Prelude (C&C) (Gr 3, 1100m). The colt defeated Semillion (Shalaa) by a length and a quarter.
Trained by Julius Sandhu, Lofty Strike was a $280,000 purchase by Lofty Thoroughbred Group from Columbine Stud at last year's Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Lofty Strike is Snitzel's 45th juvenile stakes winner. The son of Redoute's Choice (Danehill) is currently sitting in third place in the leading sires table in Australia.

First for Russian Revolution
Newgate Stud's first season sire Russian Revolution (Snitzel) notched up his first stakes winner and fourth winner overall when Revolutionary Miss (2 f ex Purcentage by Onemorenomore) won Saturday's Blue Diamond Prelude (Gr 2, 1100m) at Caulfield.
Revolutionary Miss, who is trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, was a $195,000 purchase by Triple Crown Syndications from the draft of Sledmere Stud at last year's Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. She has now won once and placed in her other two career starts and on Saturday scored a three quarter of a length victory over Miss Roseiano (Exceed And Excel).
Russian Revolution is currently at the head of the first season sires table in Australia, just over $250,000 ahead of nearest rival The Mission (Choisir). Russian Revolution has sired four winners in his first crop so far.

Argentia (3 f ex Princess Coup by Encosta De Lago) became the 84th stakes winner for Juddmonte Farm's champion Frankel (Galileo) when she won the Kevin Hayes Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) at Caulfield. Trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, Argentia beat Scorched Earth (Nicconi) by a nose.
Argentia was a $670,000 purchase by James Harron Bloodstock at the 2020 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale when offered by Evergreen Stud. Out of multiple Group One winner Princess Coup (Encosta De Lago), Argentia is a half-sister to Group Three winner Thewizardofoz (Redoute's Choice) and her I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) half-sister is catalogued as Lot 364 at the forthcoming Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
Frankel has sired 20 Group One winners. In Australia, he has sired 33 winners from 52 runners with nine of those winning at stakes level headed by Group One winners Hungry Heart, Converge and Mirage Dancer.

Six for Capitalist
Newgate Farm's Capitalist (Written Tycoon) sired stakes winner number six on Saturday when Marine One (3 c ex Golconda by Snitzel) won the Rubiton Stakes (Gr 2, 1100m). Trained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, Marine One beat Oxley Road (Exceed And Excel) by a length and a quarter. Marine One was a $500,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase by Kennewell Racing and Group 1 Bloodstock at the 2020 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Champion first season sire last season, Capitalist's stakes winners are headed by Champagne Stakes (Gr 1, 1600m) winner Captivant.

This'll Testya (6 m ex Camille's Girl by Flying Spur) provided now pensioned sire Testa Rossa (Perugino) with his 67th stakes winner when she won the Cyril Flower Stakes (Listed, 1200m) at Ascot. The Mitchell Pateman-trained mare, who was a $52,000 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale purchase by Mark Nelson from the draft of Dawson stud in 2017, beat Kissonallforcheeks (Written Tycoon) by a length and a half.
Testa Rossa stood at Vinery Stud before his retirement in 2018.

Eight for Burgundy
The Jamie Richards-trained Maven Belle (2 f ex Doyenne by Killimanjaro) became the eighth stakes winner for Burgundy (Redoute's Choice) when she won the Platinum Homes 2YO Classic (Gr 3, 1200m) at Te Rapa on Saturday. Under Opie Bosson, Maven Belle beat Val Di Zoldo (War Decree) by a length.
The formerly Cambridge Stud-based Burgundy died in 2019.
