Breeders will this week be presented with an opportunity that normally only appears at either the Inglis Chairman's Sale or Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale when Sierra Sue is put up for sale.

A two-time Group 1 winner and owner of a Timeform rating of 119, the daughter of Darci Brahma will be offered via Inglis Digital.

The New Zealand-bred mare is one of few multiple Group 1 winners to be offered this year and the five-year-old's Timeform rating has her well-placed among the most expensive mares sold off the track at auction in Australasia.

Four-time Group 1 winner Tofane, who sold for $3.1m at the National Sale in May, also has a peak rating of 119, while Shout The Bar, who sold for $2.7m at Chairman's, was a 115-rater.

They are by Ocean Park and Not A Single Doubt respectively.

Of the mares to sell for at least $2.5m, only Jameka (124, Myboycharlie), Samantha Miss (122, Redoute's Choice), Arcadia Queen (121, Pierro), Virage De Fortune (120, Anabaa), Princess Coup (120, Encosta de Lago) and Divine Madonna (120, Hurricane Sky) boast a higher rating than Sierra Sue.

Sunlight (Zoustar), who sold for $4.2m, and Unforgotten (Fastnet Rock) also had a peak rating of 119, as does this year's Coolmore Classic winner Lighthouse (Mizzen Mast), who sold for $1.7m at Magic Millions.

The Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young-trained Sierra Sue's two Group 1 wins came over the Caulfield 1400m; in last year's Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and this year's Futurity Stakes.

They are among nine wins from 24 starts for the daughter of Centaine mare Centree, who has banked $1,731,375 in earnings.

"She always had that real X-factor but physically she was amazing," Young said.

"She just had the deepest girth you would ever see on a filly and she always walked around like she owned the joint. She always had that mannerism about her.

"She's just got a really terrifically powerful hindquarter and she obviously showed that with the turn of foot she brought to the racetrack."

Bidding commences via http://inglisdigital.com on Tuesday and concludes on Wednesday.
