A look at some of the yearlings who might sell for big money on Monday in Sydney.
Winx's filly might have stolen most of the headlines ahead of the second day of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, but the daughter of Pierro is not the only well-related type who is expected to command big money on Monday.
Below is a snapshot of some of the other bluebloods who will be offered on Day 2.
LOT 295 – Zoustar x Sin Sin Sin colt: Widden Stud is offering the youngster who is a half-brother to The Everest winner and now Coolmore stallion Yes Yes Yes.
Lot 304 – Zoustar x Solar Charged colt: Also part of the Widden draft is the brother to Sunlight, who is also a full relation to the colt Widden sold for $3m at the 2022 Easter Sale and the filly who realised $2.6m at Magic Millions last year.
Lot 329 – Wootton Bassett x Sunlight colt: Less than an hour after Sunlight's brother is sold, Coolmore will offer the second foal from the three-time Group 1 winner. Her first foal, a colt by Justify, last year realised $1.4m at Magic Millions.
Lot 346 – Written Tycoon x The Broken Shore colt: Arrowfield Stud will offer the chestnut who is out of a half-sister to Redoute's Choice, who has had five foals to race for five winners, including three-time Group 1 winner Shoals.
Lot 365 – Lucky Vega x Unforgotten filly: Less than a week out from the ATC Oaks, Yulong will offer the second foal from the Fastnet Rock mare who won the 2018 edition.
Lot 375 – Written Tycoon x Viddora colt: Yulong is also offering the second live foal from the two-time Group 1-winning daughter of I Am Invincible it bought for $2.55m at the end of her racing career.
Lot 391 – Pierro x Winx filly: The only foal from the 25-time Group 1 winner and four-time Cox Plate champion.
Lot 418 – I Am Invincible x Anaheed colt: A little over 12 months after the three-time Group 2 winner and Manikato Stakes placegetter's first foal sold for a Magic Millions record $2.7m, his brother will be offered by Segenhoe Stud.
Lot 443 – I Am Invincible x Booker filly: The third highest-priced lot of last year's Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale at $2.5m was the first foal from Oakleigh Plate winner Booker, a daughter of Written Tycoon, and his younger sister is expected to be another high-achiever for Coolmore, who is also offering the Winx filly.
After Day 1 of the Easter sale was put back to a midday start, Monday's second day returns to a normal start time with the first lot to be offered at 10am.
