Snitzel mare in-foal to top Kiwi stallion heads bidding at Inglis Digital
Group 1 producer Parmalove looks poised to live up to her billing as the headline act of the May (Early) Sale and be the latest success story of Inglis Digital.
Exactly one day out from the bidding deadline of 6.10pm Wednesday, the daughter of Snitzel held a top bid of $590,000.
The 11-year-old, who is out of Group 2 placegetter Love's Here (Dehere), is the dam of this season's star Kiwi two-year-old Velocious, winner of the Sistema Stakes at Group 1 level and the rich Karaka Million 2YO.
Parmalove is being sold in-foal to Satono Aladdin, who last month had his 2024 service fee set at NZ$65,000, an increase of $20,000 on last year's figure.
She was added to the May (Early) Sale after being a late withdrawal from last week's Chairman's Sale after suffering a minor cut prior to her scheduled flight to Sydney.
Others catalogued in the sale include eight-year-old Stratum mare Stravain ($100,000), who is being offered in-foal to Pierro, French mare Salmah ($95,000), who is in-foal to Toronado, and Listed winner Global Thinking ($70,000), who is in-foal to Too Darn Hot.
