Two Bays Farm has continued its shrewd use of Inglis Digital, winning the battle for Group 2-winning mare Zoe's Promise.

The daughter of Swear got to $200,000 in the latest offering before being knocked down to the Victorian operation, which recently sold Harmony Rose through Inglis Digital for $400,000 and has also bought the likes of G1 placegetter Nudge off the platform.

The five-year-old who started her career with Daryl Cannon and had stints with Ciaron Maher and Kris Lees will be retired immediately with a first mate to be decided in coming weeks.

"I couldn't go past her fantastic race record, including her Group 2 win at Moonee Valley and these super consistent, elite race mares are really hard to buy,'' Two Bays Farm's Rob Ferris said.

"We will breed to her this season but I don't have an exact plan as to who will serve her yet, we'll work that out in the near future.

"Inglis Digital, it's just too easy to spend money on. I find it very easy to use, Inglis do a great job with it, it really is a great asset for thoroughbred owners and sellers in Australia and globally.''

Today's second-top lot was the young Willow Park Stud-offered broodmare Glimmering (Kingman), with a Justify filly foal at foot, who sold for $165,000.

The third-top lot was Just Watch Me (Deep Field), who like Zoe's Promise will be immediately retired and bred to this season.

Offered by trainer Lindsey Smith on behalf of the horse's owners, Just Watch Me sold to Kenmore Lodge for $115,000.

In total the August (Early) Sale grossed $2,291,650.

The number of $100,000-plus lots sold through Inglis Digital so far in 2024 has now reached 74, which have been bought by 63 individual buyers.

Entries are now open for the August (Late) Sale, which will run from August 16-21.
