Son of Kingman is expected to return to Australia in 2024
Darley announced on Tuesday that Palace Pier will not shuttle to Australia this year.
A Tweet from Darley in Australia read: "In the horse's best interest, Palace Pier will not shuttle to Australia for the 2023 southern hemisphere season. It is expected that he will return for the following season."
Palace Pier shuttled to Darley Australia for the first time last year when he covered a book of 97 mares at a fee of $55,000 (inc GST). He stood for £50,000 at Darley's Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket this year.
