John Leek would be happy if all digital sales produced immediate results for the stable like Inglis's Late June Online Sale has.

The Leek family bought two horses, Fengarada and Castrofrancaru, for a combined $32,000, and both have since won.

Castrofrancaru, who was bought by Leek's son Mitchell for his partner Lauren Walker for $12,000, powered away for a three-length win in the Sparkle Superstars Maiden Plate (2200m) at Bairnsdale on Tuesday.

It was the gelding's second start for the stable, following a fourth placing at Sale on July 8, and justified Leek Jnr's faith in the horse formerly trained by Shane Stockdale.

"It's great to see this horse get up and win because Mitchell's girlfriend owns this horse," John said.

"Mitchell does all his riding and he spotted it online and got after it because he used to ride it trackwork at Pakenham. It's fantastic for everybody."

The Leeks are already plotting a raid on next year's Warrnambool May Racing Carnival with the four-year-old, who broke his maiden at start No 11.

"He looked like he was strong on the line today and he can jump," Leek said on Racing.com. "He's already schooled and jumped and trialled and he's got a fair bit going for him."

Castrofrancaru earned $13,750 for his Bairnsdale win, to go with $1750 from his Sale effort.

His win came just under a fortnight after Fengarada, a $20,000 buy, picked up $27,500 for a Sandown win when on debut for the stable.

The four-year-old son of Puissance De Lune will look to make it back-to-back city wins in the Tile Importer Handicap (1800m), which carries another $27,500 winner's cheque, at Sandown on Wednesday.
