After announcing his retirement from racing following last weekend's Breeders' Cup meeting, Lane's End Farm on Wednesday released the fee for Flightline, with the son of Tapit (Pulpit) to stand for $200,000 in 2023.

Flightline retired from racing having won all six of his starts, with his final victory coming in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Classic (1m2f) on Saturday.

A 2.5 per cent share in the stallion sold for US$4.6 million at Keeneland on Monday.

Lane's End's Bill Farish said after the sale of the share: "It was very exciting; it's a tribute to Flightline. He's just an incredible horse. There was a tremendous amount of interest."
