Good Times At Gold Coast Breeze Ups

A colt by Foxwedge and a Star Witness filly were the stars of the latest breeze up session for next month's Magic Millions 2YOs in Training Sale.

Both members of the Kenmore Lodge draft they recorded the quickest breezes at the Gold Coast, both stopping the clock in 10.34 seconds.

The Foxwedge colt is the first foal of a city performed three quarter sister to million dollar earner Idyllic Prince.

The Star Witness filly is a half-sister to international Group performer Newlands from Delphi Lodge, a half-sister to Golden Slipper winner Vancouver.

Some 118 juveniles breezed during the Gold Coast session. Another breeze up session will be held at the Gold Coast Turf Club on October 11 before the sale over two days on October 14 and 15.

Breeze up sessions for Inglis Ready2Race Sale were held at Eagle Farm and Taupo.

The Taups set saw a a Deep Field x Blueridge Cat gelding consigned by Prima Park clock 10.31 seconds for his breeze alongside fellow Prima offering lot 109, a Zoustar x Miss Eddy filly which ran the day's second-fastest time of 10.37 seconds.

At Eagle Farm, the fastest breeze came from a Shamus Award x La Belle Aurore colt from Rojul Bloodstock who clocked 10.97 seconds.

The second-fastest was a Deep Field x Omniyah colt from KBL Thoroughbreds in 11.08.

There is one final breeze up session at Warwick Farm on October 18 for horses who were unable to breeze in earlier sessions before the sale on October 22.
