Danzig stallion Librettist notched his first New Zealand winner on Saturday when Jimmer Time was successful in the 2YO eventy over 1300m at Ellerslie for trainer Anne Herbe

The two-year-old gelding settled second to last for rider Craig Grylls but showed a good turn of foot to score comfortably.

Jimmer Time is out of the Woodman mare Rosey Dane, a daughter of the Listed Summoned Stakes winner and G1 Karrakatta Plate placegetter Rose Of Dane.

The Anne Herbert prepared runner is just the second starter for Librettist, a dual G1 winning miler in Europe.

From his first Northern Hemisphere crop in 2010, Librettist has produced the dual G2 winner Libranno for top UK trainer Richard Hannon.
