Secret Obsession (Race 4) opened at an each way quote but has now taken over at the head of the market at $3.50 after firming close to a point and a half. The gelding was a good maiden winner first up after a year away from the track so should only be fitter with that run under his belt.

Chase the Horizon (Race 6) has tightened his grip on favouritism at $2.25 having firmed up about 40 cents in early betting. He improved plenty at his second up run when a good winner at Caulfield and should be at peak fitness third up today.

The Chairman (Race 10) was about $1.50 longer than the early favourite when markets opened but his price has been gobbled up with punters backing him in a point and a half and into clear favouritism at $2.90. He should be at his best third up from a spell after two good runs including a last start second.
