Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting for Tuesday’s meeting at Port Macquarie.

La Piola (Race 1) could be worth an each way ticket at $5.50 after having almost halved her opening double-figure quote. The lightly-raced filly has run at the end of her two starts this campaign over sprint journeys so should be suited up in trip third up.

Pradnya (Race 5) is another to have opened at a double figure quote this morning but she too has halved her initial price to $5. She has two wins and five placings from five attempts at this track and distance, and ran on for third when resuming so should be suited having twice won second up before.

Capital Magic (Race 8) is another backed at longer odds, firming up almost 10 points to $5.50 since markets first opened. She drops back in trip today and that could be a big help to her with her lone career win coming at this distance.
