While he has proven a continual money burner for punters this preparation the Anthony Cummings trained Quick Peek finally gets his best chance to break through after a number of solid performances this time in.

On paper Quick Peek has only finished in the minor placings once in his last five starts however he has never been far away and if you take out his last start performance the furthest he has finished from the winner has only been three-and-a-half lengths.
Lining up in arguably one of the easiest races he has ever contested in his 25 career starts, Cummings has elected to finally put the blinkers on the son of Danehill Dancer, a ploy which should sharpen him right up for this afternoon's event.
Drawing well on the inside should also make his task of carrying the topweight far easier and with the in-form Robl on board he should be able to roll forward and settle up nicely on the speed.
During his career his best performances have been seen when his races have been spaced between eight and 14 days, a trend which fits in with this afternoon's event, more notably in each of his seven starts this time in he has been met with a lot of support which indicates he has been working well at home.
In a race which is shaping up to have minimal chances you can expect his consistent performances in tougher Saturday company to measure up well in a mid-week affair at Goulburn and should prove very hard to beat.
The Amanda Turner and Mauro Poletti trained Rapauric shapes up as Quick Peek's greatest danger as he also drops back sharply in grade for this afternoon's event after finishing seventh at Canterbury last start over 1900m.
Having never missed the money at this track in four attempts he shapes as a leading chance with his best form also seen over the mile.
Drawn a shade awkwardly expect Lester Grace to settle him back off the speed and be charging home late.
Of the rest the Grant Allard trained Triple Oh shapes as the next best following his last start victory at this track and trip.
While today's event is a step up in grade he races at his best over the mile and it is hard to knock winning form.
The Joseph Pride trained Destiny's Dance and the Frank Cleary trained God's Reward round out the multiples.
