A confidence boosting maiden victory should see progressive galloper Twisted Emotions continue on his winning form at Goulburn this afternoon.

After finishing second at four of his first five starts John O'Shea decided to take an easier approach to this preparation with the in-form trainer electing to set the son of Danewin for an "easy kill" at Goulburn last start.
Lining up in by far his easiest assignment to date, Twisted Emotions proved far too good for his rivals when cruising away for a 1.8L victory.
Although he did appear to be in trouble when making the turn for home, Hugh Bowman never looked to be concerned as he patiently rode the three-year-old towards the tail of the field before pulling him out in the straight to work home strongly down the outside to pick up his rivals with considerable ease.
While today's event appears to be a much stiffer test he still appears very well placed given the strength of his form out of his previous preparation as he had proved game in defeat to the eventual Group 1 Victoria Derby winner Fiveandahalfstar prior to a spell.
Having continued to improve with each performance last time in the rise to the mile this afternoon looks ideal and he has drawn to receive all the favours.
In only a small field of nine expect Bowman to settle him a little bit closer to the speed this time around with the Gregory McFarlane trained Demon Nurse and Theresa Bateup trained Skyway ensuring the race is run at a good solid tempo.
Unlike a majority of his rivals in this today he appears a horse on the rise and should have no concerns taking out this event.
The Chris Waller trained Trick Shot appears to be the main threat in the race after she proved too good at Gosford last start when racing up on the speed over 1600m.
Another galloper who has proven competitive in tougher company, she is expected to keep Twisted Emotions in check and on her best form rates as a top winning hope.
Three-year-old galloper Corryvreckan appears the next in line as he drops back to the mile today following his third placing behind the Gai Waterhouse trained Hippopus last start at Canterbury over 1900m.
Having proven too strong at Kembla Grange over 1500m two starts back in very testing conditions he should have no problems running out a strong mile here and is expected to make his presence felt.
