The John O’Shea-trained runner has not been far away in recent times, finishing runner up in his last three outings, the most recent behind Runhardasun at Canterbury over 1550m.

Cheers Browe, who has placed in five of his seven runs to date will get a good run from barrier 3 with Nash Rawiller to maintain the ride.

The Three-year-old Savabeel gelding rates well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings, the only slight concern the current Slow 7 track with Cheers Browe not having raced on worse than a dead.

The John O’Shea stable seems to have hit top gear in recent times and is training at over 16% winners this season.

Cheers Browe looks hard to go past on recent form and expect him to be too good for these although there does appear to be a couple that will keep him honest.

Royal Frolic has finished in the money all three runs to date, the most recent at this course over 1350m. He goes to the mile for the first time but is sure to get a good run from the inside draw.

Looks to have ability and breeding suggest he should get the trip. Did a lot wrong last start when third here but was still only 1.4L away at the finish. Looks the biggest changer and must be respected in this.

General Web has had plenty of chances to break through, still a maiden after 14 outings but has been solid enough in recent times. Runner up at Kembla Grange last start and a repeat of that performance will him in the mix.

Unplaced from both runs at the trip however and has not shown a great deal on wet tracks but can make his way into the finish again.

White Devon also rates a mention, placing in four of her last five outings. Rates pretty well against these and was good last start at Gosford when third on a slow track at Gosford over this trip.

Clearly handles the wet conditions and despite drawing a touch awkward stays under strong notice here.

Crown Of Reason probably the best of the rest but hard to see him beating the top couple of chances, place best.
