The four-year-old is backing up quickly today after a soft win at this track and trip seven days ago, and will be very hard to beat shedding 2.5kg in weight.

Jockey Tommy Berry, who rides again today, was untroubled in orchestrating the win last week.

He settled back in sixth spot, peeled four wide rounding the turn and motored right over the top of them running to a weight-adjusted Timeform figure of 91.

The beauty of that run was she looked to have much more in the tank.

It was her second run over the 1900m, and her second win at the trip. It was also her fourth run at this track where she’s now returned two wins and two minor placings.

There’s a distinct lack of pace in this one, so don’t be surprised if she settles a bit closer to the front in this one.

Against a small field today from barrier one, expect her to prove too good again.

With stablemate Perplexity scratched, watch for Diamond Jim to run a strong race here, dropping back from Saturday grade.

He ran second to the above-average Ecuador 18 days ago over 1800m, earning a weight-adjusted Timeform figure of 91.

Ecuador went on to get beaten at Rosehill on Saturday, but there’s still no denying his ability.

Diamond Jim has won here before and should get his chance with Nash Rawiller in the saddle.

He might just find this lot a bit sharp, but he rates pretty well for a race like this and shouldn’t be dismissed.

Angel Child might just be next in line here for Tony McEvoy, chasing a fourth-straight win.

She’s been a revelation since moving up from Tasmania, winning well resuming at Nowra then proving too good at Dubbo 17 days ago.

That latest run produced a weight-adjusted Timeform figure of 88, and there looks to be more improvement to come.

She’s still learning but she has ability and gets her chance over a bit further in this one. She can run a bold race here.
