Progressive sprinter Perfect Charger appears on track to bring up the hat-trick at Singapore on Friday night following another dominant display last start.

Having failed to really come up last preparation, leading trainer Alvin Tan elected to spell the son of One Cool Cat and it has quickly paid dividends with the rising five-year-old remaining unbeaten this time in.

Having burst onto the scene back in May last year with three wins from his first four starts, Perfect Charger failed to salute at his next six starts, though the form behind Easy Man was hard to knock.

With two mediocre performances prior to a spell he proceeded to bounced right back with a dominant first up display over 1000m.

Successful in recording a new career peak on that occasion, Perfect Charger would again go on to raise the bar when saluting easily as the short priced favourite last start.

A noted on-pace runner, apprentice rider Joseph See summed up the race beautifully when taking a sit just off the Michael Freedman trained Sure Win in the early stages.

In what was clearly a race in two rounding the home turn, Perfect Charger travelled strongly inside the 300m before displaying a good turn of foot to pick up the leader and draw away for a dominant one-and-a-half length victory.

Given it was a further three-and-a-half lengths back to third, it really emphasised the dominance of his victory and the overall time quickly backed up this claim.

With a total of four races held on the polytrack, Perfect Charger recorded easily the quickest time of the night and was deemed to be three lengths superior.

He has now improved five pounds this time in and given the ease of his latest victory he is expected to improve a similar mark on Friday night.

Rising significantly at the weights, Oscar Chavez links back aboard having placed in seven of his 10 attempts aboard the rising five-year-old old.

From the rails draw Chavez is expected to roll forward with the Shane Baertschiger trained Cash Advance also expected to press forward with last start winner Appreciation also expected to be not that far away.

Given the way he relaxed so well off the speed last start, wouldn't be surprised to see Chavez hand up on Perfect Charger and let Cash Advance lead as the latter could be required to do a bit of work to find the front from the awkward draw.

Despite being allotted 59kg, Perfect Charger still rates well on Timeform weight adjusted ratings and given he is expected to improve further he does appear very hard to beat.

Last start winner Cash Advance proved quite impressive saluting at this track and trip and does appear the main danger to Perfect Charger.

A victor of three of his six career starts to date the son of Ad Valorem has only missed the money once and does rate well on his latest effort.

Proceeding to lead throughout to salute by over five lengths it is quite clear that he is a heading in the right direction, though this is easily his sternest test to date.

From the awkward draw he is expected to lead as he has performed at his best when allowed to roll to the front.

Apprentice rider Matthew Kellady links aboard for the first time and has been riding in fair form of late and does provide some minor weight relief.

Though unlikely to get away with cheap sectionals out in front, if Perfect Charger does prove to be off his game expect Cash Advance to be very hard to run down.

The Sam Chua trained Appreciation has been racing in career best form of late and does shape as one of the leading contenders on Friday night.

Successful in bringing up his third career victory last start the son of Sandtrap did appear to have a bit left in hand and does draw to get the gun run off the two favourites.

Although he still has a bit to find on the top two the fact he won by two lengths last suggests he is likely to record a new career peak and should thus make his presence felt.

The closing sectionals out of his latest performance proved quite impressive and if the top two prove to carve each other up in front he is expected to be closing over the top of them.

Of the rest the David Kok trained Peaceful Warrior does appear the next in line following his close second placing here last time out.

Successful in running up to his performance behind Daniel two back the son of Bel Esprit isn't rated far off the leading chances and does get some weight relief with the claim.

From the good draw he is expected to settle down just off midfield and be saved up for the last crack at them in the straight.
