Le Cordon Bleu can send punters out on a winning note in the last event at Haweksbury on Thursday.

Le Cordon Bleu resumes off a generous spell for the in form Team Hawkes stable and has looked impressive during three starts this campaign.

The latest was a 900m trial win at Rosehill which he won in consummate ease.

While eligible for a maiden contest, the Hawkesbury’s Wine/Food Raceday Class 1 (1000m) on Thursday still looks a suitable first up assignment for the son of Snitzel.

That is considering the Timeform figure of 100 Le Cordon Bleu ran to on debut in what became a very strong form race.

Le Cordon Bleu placed in 2YO Plate at Warwick Farm in March 2013 won by Whittington.

Va Pensiero ran second while he beat the likes of In Cahoots and Scandiva.

It was a strong display in an event which possessed four subsequent stakes winners.

This is impressive form for a Hawkesbury Class 1 and on master figures, rates well clear of his nearest rivals.

In form jockey James McDonald should settle the four-year-old handy and expect the pair to pull away in the straight.

Topweight Guepardo is the main danger.

The Flying Spur gelding placed first up at Mudgee and is capable of better based on a debut win at Wyong during the summer.

Guepardo will strip fitter second up and from barrier 10, expect him to roll across and settle handy.

Brodie Loy claims 2kg however even on weight adjusted figures after the claim, rates shy of Le Cordon Bleu’s master figure.

Danpivot was a strong debut winner at this track and trip a fortnight ago.

He will have taken valuable race experience and fitness from the run and can give them something to chase.

Bite The Media and King Kazou each profile as place hopes after their respective last start wins.

Overall though, Le Cordon Bleu should be further franking the form of an already strong race in the Hawkesbury Wine/Food Raceday Class 1.
